Mr. Kenny McRostie is a Principal Logistics Analyst and Senior Operations Manager at CANA Advisors. Mr. McRostie is responsible for managing the business development and capture process for CANA, program and project management within the logistics services product lines and for contributing technically to client projects. A proven senior leader with over 28 years of experience as a military officer and 19 years as an entrepreneur, Mr. McRostie has worked extensively in both the federal and commercial markets with great success.
Throughout his career as a U.S. Marine Corps logistics and artillery officer, leader, and operations and logistics planner, Mr. McRostie has gained extensive experience working with people in diverse and challenging circumstances, managing resources, and planning at the operational and strategic levels. Early in his career, Mr. McRostie applied leadership and management skills providing logistics support, including embarkation, maintenance management, hazardous material and waste management, safety and transportation across a wide spectrum of military operations. As his military career progressed, Mr. McRostie’s responsibilities expanded and he was involved in planning and execution of large-scale amphibious and maritime prepositioning exercises as both an operations and logistics planner. His responsibilities demanded a thorough understanding of Marine Air Ground Task Force operations across the full range of missions.
As an entrepreneur, owning and operating several small businesses, Mr. McRostie has gained a solid understanding and practical knowledge of operations, financial management, customer service and business development. His understanding of organizational and business processes and his common sense approach to problem-solving enables Mr. McRostie to quickly identify effective solutions.
